When french toast meets pancakes... and fell in love.

                         I found this recipe and decided to give it a try this morning, 

                         I usually like french toast but this sounded way better! here are the ingredients.

3 eggs, all purpose flour (I used whole wheat flour) milk, brown sugar, vegetable oil, baking powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon and a little bit of salt.

blend the eggs until fluffy

and add the rest of the ingredients.

                                                  submerge the slices in the batter and lift,

                                                    allowing the excess batter to run off          

       .

transfer to a buttered pan and cook on both sides until golden brown

and voila!!!! 

too bad my husband it's not a french toast or pancake person, 

I had to enjoy this one on my own.

Last Sunday was a special day for the family, my brother in law got married. All of the family came from England for the wedding. Of course I found the perfect excuse to wear a fascinator. Oh how I live for events  like these.

Simplest Lemon Merengue Pie

Ingredients Pie: 3 egg yolks

2 Limes

1 can of condensed milk

mix the ingredients

And while the pay its in the oven...

Merengue: 3 egg whites and sugar

 Blend until  fluffy

Bake for a few more minutes and...
